Today is Friday night and it is date time for Mom and Dad. Sorry kids you should stay at home and be nice as we are going late for date. So today, is a Mexican Food for the date.
When it comes to Mexican food, first thing came out to our mind is: Nacos, Salsa, Taco, Burrito, Quesadilla and Mojito. Quite confusing name for people that not familiar with Mexican food. Same with me when the first time I try Mexican food, I still remember we order Burrito and Nachos, then end-up with satiation.
I you like to know more about the Mexican menu, we wrote something about Burrito, Taco and Quesadilla here.
So, back to the story, I remember about Muchachos, Mexican food, quite well known in Singapore, and I’ve been here before with friends before. but seems like Dad never try this before.
Finding the place
Before we came, I send the location to Dad, through Google maps. It was the correct (new) address: Cecil St. But I told him, let’s meet up at Keong Saik, as I didn’t really read what the maps actually sent. I thought it still at Keong Saik the place that I used to know. Long story short, after a googling for a while we realize that the restaurant is closed and re-open at Frasers Tower at Cecil st. If you like to know where exactly the place, you can find out at the map below.
On my own personal opinion, I prefer the old place at Keong Saik, the new place is at commercial area, the Mexican ambient is not there anymore as the previous location. the place is for office lunch time, it’s quite small, crowded and rushed.
Despite of the place, the food is good tho, Dad’s ordered California Burrito and Beer, while I’m ordering Taco Steak with green Salsa, in overall it’s good food, if you don’t mind the calories.
Cheers!
